The Erie Otters had stated they were looking to add at least one more body to the mix before the OHL’s trade deadline. They did just that this morning in a trade with the Belleville Bulls.
The Otters have landed 1995 born forwards Remi Elie and Jake Marchment from the Bulls. Elie is a Dallas Stars NHL draft choice and Jake Marchment is an LA Kings NHL draft choice. Elie was a 2nd round pick in 2013 by the Stars while Marchment was a 6th round selection by the Kings in 2014.
Marchment was subject of a 15 game OHL suspension earlier this season and had since requested a trade from the Bulls after it was announced that he would no longer be wearing the “C”.
