The Kingston Frontenacs have been awfully busy on the trade front both in talks and actually completing trades. Most recently, the club announced they’ve acquired 1997 born defender Liam Murray from the Windsor Spitfires. In exchange, the Spitfires add a 3rd round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.

To Kingston:
– Liam Murray

To Windsor:
– 3rd Round Pick (2017)

Murray, originally a 3rd round selection of the Spitfires back in 2013 has scored 4 points in 29 games this year from the blueline, carries a -9 rating with 45 penalty minutes which includes his 5 fighting majors. Liam’s five fights this year is good enough to put himself into a tie for the most fighting majors in the OHL with Connor Brown (Saginaw), and Cody Caron who Liam will join in Kingston.

Liam Murray, 6’2, 210lbs, is a native of Orleans, ON and is a prospect eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft.
